the room was spacious n nice, liked the decent shower too. staff were friendly for the most part, made me feel welcome. the gardens outside were chill and added to the vibes. the price was pretty decent for what i got. i'll think bout staying here again if i'm in the area for work.
but the place felt a bit outdated and needed some proper management. also had issues with the food not bein that great, didn't really enjoy the meals.

missingWrote a review on 18 Novwell-maintained gardensroom mix-uppoor communication
Well-maintained gardens add charm to the property.
Upon arrival, we faced a shocking situation where strangers were already in our assigned rooms. The front desk staff brushed it off as a computer error, which did little to calm our nerves after such an invasion of privacy. We spent the night on edge, unable to sleep, worried that someone else might enter our rooms again. This level of negligence is utterly unacceptable, and I’m forced to raise a formal complaint about the disorganization.

It was just an excellent fit for a brief stop-in in Coventry with good price-value balance. The bedding was clean, which was a relief given the overall state of the hotel. Watch out for the strong cigarette smell in some rooms.

Stunning grounds, spacious rooms with Jacuzzi tubs, historical architecture charm
Parking organization could use a complete overhaul!!! An upgrade of the gym facilities is long overdue, with equipment that feels like it's stuck in the past!!!

Consider requesting a room away from the smoking area to avoid unpleasant odors, as some rooms may have lingering scents.

The twin room featured a decent size, perfect for resting after a long day. I appreciated the location for its proximity to key attractions, making it easy to explore the area quickly.
Upon arrival, the night check-in felt pretty slow, and the first room we got had an open door, which was unsettling. We encountered multiple issues with our key card during our stay, needing to visit reception twice for replacements. the TV setup was more trouble than it was worth. the plug didn't fit the socket properly. To add to the frustration, the shower controls didn't work right, making it a chore to wash up. I was disappointed to find that the free Wi-Fi was limited to the lobby, with a steep charge for access in the rooms, especially with no cellular signal to rely on. Lastly, housekeeping seemed absent, as we found a pretty shabby state in our space, including stains and dirty mugs.

The Hare and Hounds up the road dished out some top-notch pub grub, and China Delight had me gobbling up some cracking Chinese dishes that were right on the money. The restaurant staff were also quite friendly, which makes a difference in any dining experience.
